Sex Education
Empowering children through knowledge, teaching children about their bodies, boundaries and safety to prevent abuse and build confidence
About This Program
Our Sex Education for Children project is a preventive, age-appropriate safety initiative designed for children aged 2 to 10 years. The focus is on body awareness, personal safety, and protection.
Through carefully structured lessons, we help children:
• Learn the correct names of their body parts
• Understand the difference between private and public parts of the body
• Recognize safe and unsafe touches
• Know how to speak up, say no, and report uncomfortable situations
• Identify trusted adults to turn to when they feel unsafe

Changing Lives, One Child at a Time
This project equips children with confidence, clarity, and voice, empowering them to identify abuse early and respond appropriately. We strongly believe that education is one of the most effective tools for prevention, and that children who understand their bodies are better protected from harm. Through this program we have successfully;
-
Reached 1,266 children in 12 schools across Lagos and Ogun States in 2021 alone
-
Provided workshops in nurseries, primary schools, churches, and community gatherings
-
Built self-confidence and awareness in children to protect themselves
Resources for Children & Caregivers
To support learning at home and reinforce what children learn in our sessions, we provide the “A Body is Special” guide. This age-appropriate, values-based PDF helps children understand their bodies, personal boundaries, and safe behavior in a gentle, clear way.
